Top performers on Quant Arena will be evaluated for the opportunity to create a Smart Portfolio on eToro's platform. Smart Portfolio managers earn revenue share when other users copy their portfolio.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Age & Residency: Must be 18+ and resident of a country where eToro operates
  • Account Verification: Must have a verified Quant Arena account with valid identity
  • Minimum Track Record: At least 90 days of continuous paper trading history
  • Strategy Compliance: Strategy must be systematic and executable on eToro's platform
  • No Prohibited Activity: No manipulation, wash trading, or gaming of metrics

How Winners Are Selected

Selection is based on a holistic evaluation of quantitative metrics. Raw returns alone won't win — we prioritize risk-adjusted performance and consistency.

Minimum Thresholds for Consideration

  • • No single position > 20% of portfolio
  • • At least 50 completed trades

Revenue Share Model

Smart Portfolio managers on eToro earn revenue share from the copy trading program. The exact terms are subject to eToro's Popular Investor program agreement.

How Copy Trading Revenue Works

  1. Users on eToro discover your Smart Portfolio
  2. They allocate capital to copy your trades automatically
  3. eToro charges management/spread fees to copiers
  4. You receive a percentage of those fees as revenue share
  5. More copiers and larger AUM = higher earnings

    No Plagiarism: Strategies must be your own work. Copying other users' strategies and claiming them as your own is prohibited.
